Select the "standard" against which to compare your times, gender and age group.

How many seconds do you gain in a turn ?:
in a 50:      in a 1500 or 1650:

Notes:

  1. It is normal for a swimmer to gain 1 second for each additional turn in a 50 and 2 seconds for each additional turn in a 1500. But, if your push-off speed is lots faster than your swimming speed, then your gain on turns might be 2 seconds and 5 seconds respectively. (If you rest at turns, you can ask the Mucky Duck to allow negative number for seconds gained.)
  2. Your SwimmerID is the code by which information about you and your swims is stored in USMS Archives. It is 3 alpha characters, birth year as a 2 digit number, and a 2 character alphanumeric code.
  3. The "standard" means Top Ten rank. "First" means your times will be compared to the #1 swim. "Tenth+40%" means your times will be compared with the slowest time in Top Ten plus 40%.
  4. Someday this will be completely on the web so you can see your report immediately. For now, we hope e-mail will get it back to you quickly enough.
  5. Sometimes there is insufficient data for the report to run. Either you have not submitted enough times or there aren't "standard" times for some events in your age group.
